Support LIFE Center for Independent Living (LIFE CIL)

All our contributors are recognized in our annual report, upcoming newsletters and receive a thank you letter from us in the mail.  LIFE Center for Independent Living is a 501(c)(3) organization, and your contributions would be tax deductible as allowed by law.

There are many ways anyone of any income bracket can contribute to LIFE Center’s mission and become a “Friend for LIFE”.

Monetary Contributions:

You are always able to make a contribution on behalf of someone else or in memory of a loved one, please just note that on the form.

Cash Donation

LIFE Center for Independent Living can accept:

  • Cash
  • Checks made payable to: LIFE Center for Independent Living
  • Online contributions

If you itemize, you can lower your income taxes simply by writing us a check by December 31.  There is no easier way to garner a year-end charitable deduction!

Make sure your envelope is postmarked by December 31; if it is, your gift will qualify as this year’s gift even if it is not received by us until the first week of the new year.

Gifts of cash are fully deductible—up to a maximum of 50% of your adjusted gross income.

Monthly Pledges

If you would like to contribute to LIFE Center, but have a tight budget with limited cash flow, you can also set up monthly contributions; allowing you to make a larger gift.

Matching Gifts

Some employers will match charitable gifts or make a charitable gift based on your time volunteering, meaning your gifts are worth even more.  Check with your employer to see if they have a program like this.

Top Five Reasons

  1. Because a few dollars can go a long way at LIFE Center.

Our budget is much less than other not-for-profits in our community. We are able to make a little money go a long way to provide services to persons with disabilities.

  2. To help others in your community.

Assist us in helping persons with disabilities receive the services they need to live independently in the community.

  3. To continue the fight for persons with disabilities to live independently.

While we have come a long way in the disability rights movement, we still have a long way to go to for full inclusion and equality for persons with disabilities.

  4. Because someone you know has received services from LIFE Center.

If you know someone who has received services from us and were pleased with our services, show us!

  5. Because you believe in what we do!

Because you believe in the independent living philosophy and LIFE Center’s mission! Afterall, we love what we do!
