Help Us in a Way That's Right For You
Support from individuals like you makes it possible for us to help
people with all kinds of disabilities and of all ages - from young
children to older adults - to live more independently.
Choose any of the options below to make a tax-deductible contribution:
- Print a Donation Form and Mail with a Check
Your cash gift strengthens our ability to assist people with disabilities to live independently. Print the Cash Donation form below and mail it to LIFE Center with your check. We'll acknowledge your gift in our Annual Report. - Honor Someone Special with a Donation
Your gift to LIFE Center for Independent Living is a perfect way to commemorate a special occasion, to remember a loved one or honor someone special. A gift in tribute is especially meaningful because it helps men, women and children with disabilities to live independently. Print the "Honor Someone Special:" form below and mail it to LIFE Center with your check. We'll send a card on your behalf to let the honoree or his family know of your gift. We'll also remember the honoree in our Annual Report.
- Make a Monthly Gift
You may wish to pledge monthly contributions to LIFE Center. This is a very generous way to show your continuing support for LIFE Center's mission. Print the "To Make a Monthly Gift" form below and mail it to LIFE Center with your check. We'll acknowledge your gift in our Annual Report. - Did you know …

If you would like to make a gift to LIFE Center in another form, such as a tax-deferred gift or remembering us in your will, call us or send an e-mail to marianne@lifecil.org and we'll visit you in person to discuss your gift options.
As a Donor:
- We'll keep you informed about our work - through our LIFE-Lines newsletter,
our donor letters, and our website - so you are ensured that the contributions
you have entrusted to us are spent wisely.
- You'll receive invitations to special events, workshops, and other
Center activities.
- You'll be acknowledged as a donor in our Annual Report.
A gift from you will help LIFE Center for Independent Living:
- Provide advocacy assistance to individuals with disabilities who
need help accessing programs or services or who feel they have been
discriminated against because of their disability.
- Teach and encourage area residents with disabilities to advocate
for systems change that will reduce architectural, program, and attitudinal
barriers to independent living and increase opportunities for full participation
in community life.
- Advocate for accessible communications and teach people with hearing
loss the skills and assistive devices they need to communicate.
- Provide independent living skills training to youth and adults with
disabilities.
