Regular Groups

The following groups meet at LIFE Center for Independent Living on a regular basis.  Their meeting dates are listed on the Calendar of Events above.

At LIFE CIL’s Bloomington Office Conference Room

Human Services Council: The Human Service Council is open to any person involved in the human services field.  Professionals meet, exchange ideas and news, and network among other human service agencies and organizations.  There is usually a presenter each month on various topics.  The Human Services Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.  Please feel free to bring your own lunch and eat during the meeting.

Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC):  The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) consists of representatives from local transit providers, social service providers, and community members.  The members address transportation issues and concerns, as well as provide input for the development of transportation options.  TAC meets the third Tuesday of every month from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

If you have a disability-related group that would like to have a meeting at LIFE Center for Independent Living, contact the Administrative Services Director to see if the room is available and if we can meet your needs.
